Mr. Chandrakant Mody began his long career in Coimbatore with a spinning unit. His focus centred around Rayon filament, Yarn Polyester, Nylon filament and Flax fibre yarn (linen). By 1991 he began trading with Sandoz Switzerland and India (the company in India was called Clariant) for textiles, leather dyes and chemicals. He ventured into Rubber Compounding in 1996 with a joint venture with Sumitomo, Japan. Since then, he has been one of the country's leading importers of textiles and rubber. His knowledge, and role in the industry has earned him high levels of goodwill. He has been a member of the Watchdog Panel Committee of the Customs Board for 19 years.

Mrs. Charulata Mody

As the HR Head of Devashish Polymers – apart from recruiting and inducting new employees as required, Charulata is passionately involved in creating pathways within the company to enable people to advance from mere existence to being alive, aware and productive to the limit of their possibilities. She seeks to create an era where Devashish Polymers is known for its exemplary work. She teaches as part of the corporate atmosphere and works with feelings of ambition, teamwork, and commitment. She encourages her team to be open to choices as she believes there is more than one way to reach and achieve lifetime goals. Apart from her duties on the Board of Devashish Polymers, she has worked as a Curriculum Developer and successfully ran a preschool with a daycare centre for five years. She has over ten years of experience working with various Alternative Therapies. Her vision is to create a productive environment where people feel valued and motivated to stay at the company and give their best work. Mrs. Anshu Mody

Mrs. Anshu Mody was born and brought up in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Jain University, Bangalore. Back in Bilaspur, after completing her studies, Mrs. Anshu noticed how Bilaspur lacked recreational activities. So she took it upon herself to make a difference in this area, and in 2010 her dream came to fruition when she launched the first and the biggest theme park in Chhattisgarh, complete with an amusement park, water park, a clubhouse and banquet hall with rooms. As one of the directors of DPPL, she is responsible for day-to-day accounts.

Mr. Mayank Mody represents the 4th generation of the Mody family in the business. He is a passionate believer in the power of technology to transform business, and has captained the introduction of various technology-based initiatives into the company operations. Under his leadership in the IT department Devashish emerged as one of the early adopters of technology for ease of business operations. In Mayank’s words, “Given the fast changing IT environment and the pace of adoption of technology by businesses, we are either at the cutting edge of change or we become mere followers. Mr. Nikhil Mody learnt the intricacies and technology behind rubber compounding under the personal tutelage of Mr. Fukujiro Mitsui of the Mitsufuku Industries, Japan. He has been instrumental in developing one of the best laboratories in the country to support the R&D of Rubber Compounds. He helms the R&D function & Techno Commercial Sales, and under his watch, the company has undertaken innovation in its product portfolio. His deep knowledge enables a better understanding of the customer's requirement in rubber compounds from the perspective of its materials, processes and functional aspects. As a business leader, he has consistently analysed the working of each department at Devashish Polymers and identified critical areas for improvement to deliver enhanced productivity.

Dr. Guddo S. Nadiger is a specialist in advanced materials science and has over 46 years of experience in R&D, testing, and consultancy related to the textile, polymer, and allied industries. He is a former adviser at SASMIRA, Mumbai, and BTRA Mumbai, and the former Director (Laboratories) at the Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, GOI Mumbai. He has been associated with MSMEs for the past 45 years and has expertise in testing, material processing, and characterisation of materials using several analytical techniques. He is widely recognised as an authority on environmental issues, particularly on eco-compliance and eco-labelling of products. Currently, Dr. Nadiger is involved in the accreditation and upgradation of DPPL testing laboratories and R&D activities under the DSIR-approved centre for product development and process optimisation.
